'Shloka': First Look Released on Teacher's Day
'Shloka' is a Sanskrit film directed by renowned writer and director Janardhana Maharshi. Produced by his daughters Sravani and Sharvani under the banner of Sarvejanah Sukhinobhavantu Films, the film stars actress Ragini Dwivedi in the lead role. The talented Ragini will be seen portraying a distinctive young woman who ventures into the Rudhra Bhoomi (cemetery) and engages in conversations with Nature. To commemorate Teacher's Day on September 5th, the film's director, Maharshi, has dedicated 'Shloka' to Sanskrit teachers.
On this occasion, Janardhana Maharshi said, "So far, the crucial Rudhra Bhoomi scenes of the film have been shot during schedules held in Bangalore and Mysore. Many important scenes involving Ragini were filmed in various ancient graveyards across the country. Shooting in these cemeteries required significant effort. The unique aspect of these cemeteries will only be revealed in the film, which is being made in Sanskrit and will be dubbed into many other Indian languages. As a Sanskrit student, I am delighted to be creating a film in this great language. Our goal is to popularize the Sanskrit language, which symbolizes the greatness of Indians, worldwide. I intend to make more quality films in Sanskrit in the future."
